Artist Trading Cards...new set for 2012 is under way

Below are a few ATCs (Artist Trading Cards) I have started for swaps and fun trades with peers and friends. Last year I participated in a swap with fellow Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition members, and this year I have signed up for another swap with some artists from all over the country as a fun thing. I try to make a few every year and each year they all have some unifying element or motif to tie them together (although each recipient will get something different!) and this year the series is called Adorned and Bejeweled- some cards have beads and sparkle and I have a studio full of randomly collected notions from last year to put to use making this little trinket-like cards.

Below are a few I have started already, all created New Year's Day. They are all about actual size.
