Imagine a world (really this already exists) where one could have anything they desired, fit to their specifications, custom-made for them...  anything. Fresh off the assembly line.
What happens when your desires and aesthetics change? What do you do with the things that have become obsolete in your life? Will these things ever be "loved" again?

High Maintenance is a glimpse at being thrown away, tossed aside.

personal story: I had the same un-smart cell phone for 7 years before upgrading. The one that looked like a Blackberry but wasn't, so everyone just assumed I had a Blackberry until they looked a little closer. I kept getting those letters about how it was just going to quit working one day but it never did... it was fine until the day I changed phones. It did fall into all its pieces if dropped, however. We also still have 2 VCRs... yeah I know.

If you are interested in some of the progress pics of High Maintenance, they are in a blog post here.

**Also a reminder I am having a special sale through the end of March on select paintings, you can view them here.
