Border Crossers

Border Crossers is the first art piece I have done as an exquisite corpse-style collaboration, wherein one artist will complete one piece and hand it off to another artist to work on another area and hand off again, or finish. In this one, Mary Monson aka Paws n Portraits completed the other half (divided at an angle) after I painted in the lower fish on dark purple. This painting has a very glossy varnish on it, you may see some reflection in this posted image. I met Mary through Sit.Stay.Art! and we both make paintings with animal elements. This piece was a lot of fun to make.
