Upcoming Events: July
Hey blog readers... here's what's coming up in July!
For July I have a full teaching schedule, so... take a class or a workshop!
I have art classes all month at the Michaels store in Norman, Oklahoma all month including beginner classes for drawing, acrylic, and watercolor painting. The Watercolor classes are on Sunday the 8th and 15th from 2:30-4:30 PM, the Drawing Classes are Tuesday nights 6:30-8:30 PM, and the Acrylic Painting classes are Thursday nights 6:30-8:30 PM. These are $15 each (supplies not included) and you can sign up on the store website or call the store directly at 405-329-1665.

I also have two paper marbling workshops coming up- one in Tecumseh and one in OKC!
The workshop in Tecumseh is coming up this Saturday the 7th- at Make it Yours in Tecumseh. You can still nab a spot by calling 405-441-0579, and can view more info on social media here.
The workshop in OKC is at Mad Potter Murray's (a neat pottery studio!) and I believe this is also during a monthly open house the owner holds. There will be snacks and stuff and this is *not* a gallery or retail space, so be prepared to stretch out and get messy. The event information is here.
I have an art show in Mustang coming up in August, so this month is more of a "getting ready" month for a lot of things... lots of little projects coming to fruition, lots of stuff on paper getting on canvas, lots of business coming to a close or deals finalizing... it's an interesting middle-of-year time. We have another little studio break planned (not slackin' I promise this one is a mere 3 days!) so we can re-group with our new furbaby and have a little family time, and I can work on a nature series I have been wanting to do ...or return to? or finish?....basically I need to get back to the woods! Did summer really go by [for me] this quickly?
Are you as ready for fall as I am? (we don't have to be ready for pumpkin spice to rear its ugly head, it's cool...)
